"Price book software" covers two different things. One is the catalog inside your field service app, where you type in your own services and prices. The other is a bought flat rate book with thousands of preloaded tasks and good, better, best menus. This page sorts the main options by what they are and what the vendor publishes about cost. Prices checked October 13, 2026 on each vendor’s own pricing page. Vendors change prices and plan names without notice; confirm before you buy.
Built-in price books: already in your software
Housecall Pro
"Every Housecall Pro account includes a built-in price book." You can "add services, set prices, and include details like taxes, durations, and photos." The cheapest plan is Basic at "$59/mo" billed annually or "$79/mo" month to month for 1 user, and the price book is listed on it. Housecall Pro offers "Try 14 days free. No credit card required. Cancel anytime."
Jobber
Jobber's products and services list does the same job. Core is "$29/mo" billed annually, "$39/mo" on a one year commitment, or "$49/mo" with no commitment, for 1 user. Every plan says "Add users for $29/mo each." Jobber's trial: "For 14 days you get full access to all of Jobber's features on the Grow plan"
Workiz and Service Fusion
Both include item catalogs. Workiz publishes no prices; each plan shows a request button, and it offers "Start your 7-day free trial today." Service Fusion publishes "$208" per month billed annually for Starter, "$325" for Plus and "$533" for Pro, with "Unlimited Users" on every plan.
Bought flat rate books: preloaded pricing and menus
The New Flat Rate
"The New Flat Rate is flat rate pricing software with built-in menus for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and chimney contractors." Its pitch is the menu: techs present "five pre-built service or replacement options." Cost: pricing "starts at" ninety-nine dollars "per tech" per month, in the vendor’s words. No free trial is described; the company offers a live demo.
Profit Rhino
Profit Rhino sells SmartPrice, a "digital price book & sales presentation tool", Integrate, which feeds "up-to-date flat rate pricing" into field service software, and the printed Callahan Roach book. The pricing page lists no prices; you book a demo.
FieldEdge
FieldEdge lists "Pricebook & Flat Rate Pricing" as included in all three plans (Select, Premier, Elite) and says "Our FieldEdge pricing plans can vary based on several factors". No prices are published.
ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan's pricebook is part of a platform priced per technician: "Our per-technician pricing is designed to fit your business and goals, at any size." No prices are published. See do you need ServiceTitan at one truck before you book the demo.
Which one should a new contractor pick?
- One truck, writing your own prices: use the price book inside whatever software you already pay for. Build it from your own costs first: how to build a price book.
- Service and repair with techs presenting options: a bought flat rate book earns its fee when it raises the average ticket more than it costs. At ninety-nine dollars per tech per month, one extra upsell a month pays for it. Track it.
- Several trucks, dispatch and marketing all in one: that is the FieldEdge and ServiceTitan tier. Get the quote in writing with the per-tech count and every add-on named.
Prices on this page come from each vendor's pricing page on the date shown. The full software comparison with every plan is in field service software pricing compared.
