Washington Compliance
Washington · one filing, done for you — $79 + state feeGot a Washington filing due — a contractor registration renewal, an annual report, a business license renewal? For a flat $79 plus the state's own fee, a Contractor Lane staff member prepares one supported filing and submits it where we're able to, by hand. After that first filing, Annual Auto-Compliance can take care of every year for $199/yr; or if you'd rather do the filing yourself, DIY Reminders start at $9.99/mo. No tier claims to file everything: Contractor Lane handles supported filings and tracks the rest.
Hand off the filing that's due. We do the rest.
Or $99/yr — annual option coming soon. For contractors who just want the heads-up.
Liked having it handled? Let us take care of every year.
Same Washington deadlines underneath every tier. The difference is who does the filing, and what you pay for it.

Not a registered-agent or authorized-agent service on any tier. Where Contractor Lane submits a filing on your behalf, we describe the outcome you get — prepared, submitted where we're able to, confirmed — not a legal title for the relationship. Whether and how a private company can be authorized to submit specific Washington filings is still being confirmed, filing by filing.
Every deadline, fee, and requirement referenced on this site links back to Washington's own official pages — not our own summary of them. Check any of them yourself, any time.
Registration renewal dates, the continuous bond, and liability insurance requirement, straight from the Department of Labor & Industries.
Whether your entity type owes a Secretary of State annual report, and when, straight from the Corporations & Charities Division.
Business license renewal, B&O tax, and filing frequency, straight from the Department of Revenue.
If you received a personal Contractor Lane compliance link by email, it already shows your Washington registration, bond, and insurance status — use that. If you're arriving cold, start with the free Washington status check below; we'll confirm which filing is due, what the state's own fee is, and whether it's on our supported list — then you can hand it to us for $79, or keep it DIY with reminders.
Most people start with à la carte filing: $79 plus the state's own fee, and we do one supported filing for you. After that first filing, Annual Auto-Compliance ($199/yr + state fees, early access) is the "let us handle every year" continuation. If you'd rather file everything yourself and just want a heads-up before deadlines, DIY Reminders is $9.99/mo, with a $99/yr annual option coming soon.
No. Across every paid tier, Contractor Lane handles supported filings and tracks the rest. No tier claims to file every deadline your business might have.
Where a tier submits a filing, a Contractor Lane staff member prepares it and, where we're able to for that filing type, submits it by hand — this is not unattended software submitting to the state on your behalf. "Auto-Compliance" describes the plan handling your recurring filings automatically each year so you don't have to remember or buy them one at a time; it does not mean the filing itself is automated. Every filing our staff submits gets a stored, human-reviewed confirmation.
No. On the tiers where Contractor Lane submits a filing for you, we describe what you get — preparation, submission where we're able to, a stored confirmation — not a legal title for the relationship. That's deliberate: whether a private company can be authorized to submit a given Washington filing on a business's behalf varies by filing type and is still being confirmed.
No. Contractor Lane is a private company, not a government agency, and not affiliated with or endorsed by Washington State. Every deadline and figure referenced links to the state's own official source.
