Contractor Lane prepares your filing and submits it where we are able to for that specific filing type, then stores your confirmation. A staff member handles every filing by hand, start to finish — nothing here is unattended software submitting to the state on your behalf. We describe the outcome you get, not a legal title for what we are to the state: we are not calling ourselves your registered agent or your authorized agent, because whether — and under what conditions — a private company can lawfully submit a given Washington filing on a business's behalf is being confirmed filing-by-filing, not assumed. For any filing where we are not able to submit on your behalf, you'll be told plainly before you pay, and we prepare it for your own signature and submission instead.
