Read this before you buy anything
The Vault solves one specific problem: a company where the owner is the only place several answers live. If that is not your problem yet, it is the wrong purchase, and this page will tell you so rather than sell it to you. Most of what a one-truck or two-truck operator needs is free on this site or sits in a product that is not open. Scroll to “who this is not for” first if you are not sure.

These are documentation tools only. They do not determine which safety rules apply to your business, they do not establish compliance with anything, and holding them is not evidence that you meet any requirement. Safety duties can come from federal, state, and local authorities as well as from your insurer and your contracts, and they have to be confirmed with those sources directly.
Who it is for, and who it is not for
It fits if
- Other people already do the work in your name, and you are the only place several answers live.
- You are hiring, or about to, and the process changes every time.
- Somebody other than you assigns the day, or needs to.
- You have crews, trucks, or departments whose results you cannot see apart from each other.
- A normal week stalls when you are not in it.
- You would rather edit a written starting point than write nine systems from a blank page.
It does not fit if
- You are a one-person shop. Nothing in here is aimed at you, and buying it would be paying for a problem you do not have yet.
- You have not started a business yet. Start with the free state roadmap instead.
- Your actual problem is that you do not know what a job made, what an hour costs, or what the month has to bill. Those are free tools on this site and none of them is in here.
- You want software that schedules jobs, sends invoices, or tracks technicians. The Vault is documentation, not an operating system.
- You want somebody to implement it for you. We do not sell consulting, coaching, or done-with-you services, at any price.
- You are looking for legal, tax, insurance, HR, or safety-compliance advice. It is none of those and it is not a substitute for a professional who is.

What the Vault is not, and what is not open
Contractor Lane Operator is a different thing and it is not open. Operator is the day-to-day layer: job records that survive the week, profitability job over job, estimate follow-up, and the reminder set. Several gaps a business audit finds belong there rather than here. It is being built, it is not on sale, there is nothing to pay and nothing to cancel, and it will not be sold from this page. A free account is how we reach you when it opens.
The Vault does not replace professional advice. There is no subcontractor agreement, no employment contract, no tax form, and no record-retention rule in it, because those are questions for an attorney, a CPA, or an HR professional licensed where you operate, and we would rather say so than sell you a template that has to hold up and might not.
Questions people actually ask
Is this software?
No. It is a written library: documents, checklists, scripts, worksheets, and forms you can edit and use. Nothing in it schedules a job, sends an invoice, tracks a technician, or holds your customer data.
Can I edit the documents, or are they locked?
They are meant to be edited. A hiring workflow or a stock list written for a generic contractor is a starting point, not an answer — the point is that you adapt it to your trade, your market, and your crew rather than writing it from nothing.
Does buying this make my business compliant with anything?
No, and nothing on this site will tell you otherwise. Holding a document does not establish compliance with any rule, and none of these documents determines which rules apply to your business. Safety, employment, licensing, and record obligations come from federal, state, and local authorities, from your insurer, and from your contracts, and every one of them has to be confirmed with that source directly.
I only have two trucks. Should I buy it?
Probably not yet, and we would rather say that than take the money. At that size the questions that cost you money are usually what a job actually made, what an hour of labor really costs, and what the company has to bill in a month — and all three of those have free tools on this site. Come back when other people are doing the work and you have become the bottleneck.
How do I cancel?
It is a monthly membership and you can cancel it. If you cannot find how, email support and we will sort it out rather than make you chase it.
